I subscribed. My favorite holiday tradition is a bunch of us girls get together and do the holiday baking. Making all that candy, cookies and other goodies we just have a blast.
My favorite holiday tradition is having quiche for breakfast every Christmas morning.
I have subscribed. My favorite holiday tradition is decorating the tree and the house while listening to our favorite Christmas songs. We also have “Santa Puppy” visit on Christmas morning for our dog. My daughter loves it.
Our Christmas family tradition started about 13 years ago . In the beginning it was just me , my husband, my daughter and maybe a couple of my husbands kids . Now it includes just about everyone we know . People all go eat wherever ,but at 2pm on Christmas day they all converse on my daughter's( has the biggest house) . We play a gift game called white elephant< poor man's swap meet, or just ” the game” as it is called by us. Several small gifts (1 to 2 dollars) are wrapped and placed in a pile . Then the youngest picks a gift and from then on nothing is safe as the gifts are taken and retaken . the majority of them are gag. (toliet brush , etc), but in the mess are gifts that everyone wants (this encourages the friendly fighting over gifts). The children too young to play ( will cry if gets gift taken ,) are allowed to open a small gift chosen just for them and they get to go play or watch a movie. The rest of us go 2 rounds of gift swapping . Lots of laughter and great memories bring everyone back each year. Every Oct . I will be ask by every one , ” we are playing the game this year? ” My answer is yes , same time ,s ame place. Last year there were 33 people playing , not bad for a game that started with 5 or 6.
My favorite holiday traditon is Christmas breakfast at my grandmother's house — fried country ham, biscuits, sausage casserole!!

My favorite Holiday Tradition is putting up the Christmas Tree. It's always so much fun going through all our ornaments we've collected over the years.
I can't decide between my favorite traditions, so I've narrowed it down to two. I hope that's okay.
I love dressing my kiddos up in their new Christmas pajamas at my parent's Christmas on Christmas Eve. They are ready for Santa's visit the next morning and make the cutest pictures. Plus, we don't have to worry about waking them up to dress them when we get home. They ride home in their jammies.
My second favorite tradition is baking something new to take to our neighbors. I've done this for 12 years. We live in a rural area and don't have many neighbors, but it's just another way to reconnect and share some holiday love.
We walk by candlelight through our house, where I hang many pictures of Christ's life. We talk about the meaning of Christmas with our kids.
I am subscribed to your newsletter!! Thanks for the chance to win
My parents always let my brother and me open 1 present on CHRISTmas eve. Of course they always picked the present and it was always new pajamas!! So my brother and I both carried on that tradition, we also let our kids open 1 present on CHRISTmas eve and its you guessed it PJ'S!! My kids love it…
Thanks for the chance to win
My favorite tradition is the trip to select a tree. It reminds me so much of my childhood when we had our own woods to cut a tree from. We would pick a tree weeks in advance and cut any brush from around it and mark the tree with a ribbon to make it easy to find again. Then the week before Christmas, all the children and my father would hook a small trailer to the tractor and go cut the tree and bring it back to the house. Now, of course, we go to a tree farm. Not quite the same but still fun to drive around and select your own tree and cut it down.
My favorite tradition is reenacting the nativity on Christmas Eve.
I LOVE making ornaments with my son. Our favorite are the cinnamon dough ornaments…they make the house smell so good!!
My favorite holiday tradition is decorating the tree with my kiddos. I love to see all the hand made ornaments from years past. It's such a wonderful night of memories. I get to remember when my daughter was 3, 5, 8, etc. My son will start making ornaments with us next year, he's 1.
My favorite holiday tradition is going to look at Christmas lights. Especially now, my 3 year gets so excited about it!
I subscribed. A few years ago my parents decided that instead of having their kids buy them gifts they wanted us to spend the money doing service for someone else and then on Christmas give them a letter and pictures explaining what we did. This has been a wonderful tradition for our family and helps us keep the true meaning of Christmas in our hearts. We now have a book with all the things we have done over the years. It is so fun to look through and I can't wait to add to it this year.
I love making chex mix in the oven and then adding red and green m and m's. we do this every year.
We always make Monkey Bread on Christmas morning….this is our thing.
We love that stuff…and gather around it at the table and pig out!
See this post from summer….we just could'nt wait.

Can't wait for the newsletter- thanks so much! I am really enjoying reading everybody's tips and ricks to saving money. My favorite holiday tradition is our cookie decorating contest we have every year with all the kids!
I just subscribed! My favorite holiday tradition is baking cookies with my daughters and granddaughter, and after it's all done, we package it all up and then go and deliver it to neighbors and friends. This is something that my mother used to do as well, so I use alot of her recipes.
I'm signed up! Our favorite tradition is packing up and going to our sister-in-law's house each year for Christmas.
My favorite holiday tradition as a child was listening to our Charlie Brown Christmas record which had a book with the entire story to read along with.
Isubscribed!
This was the first year, but my children decided to start their own tradition. They each picked out one present that they want, and then they donated it to charity. They are starting to question Santa and why there are children that dont get anything. This is teaching them from a young age,the joy of giving, not to be selfish, and to appreciate what they do have.
One of my favorite Christmas traditions is pulling out all the decorations and putting ornaments on the tree. This is usually the first thing we do to start anticipating Christmas. We blast music through the house, dance around, and reminisce about all the different ornaments and decorations and where we got each one. Each year we go out and pick out a new ornament and do a fun activity like ice skating, sledding, go look at lights, et cetera, so the memories of these little trinkets are endless!
OUr favorite tradition is putting the tree up, we make a huge ta-da over it the kids get all excited and they know once that tree goes up Santa will be coming soon. I just love to see the look in my kids eyes when we turn the lights off and the tree is all lit up, it warms my soul.

A few years ago, instead of having a traditional Christmas dinner at my grandparents, we started having soup and hotdogs with homemade coney sauce. Odd combination, but I look forward to it.
I host a Christmas Eve pajama dinner party each year. After dinner, I make everyone a cup of hot chocolate with a stick of peppermint and some of my homemade marshmallows. We take our drinks, load into cars, and drive around to look at everyone's Christmas decorations. Afterwards, all kids are ready to be tucked into bed and the grown-ups can do their Santa thing before falling into exhausted slumber themselves. The pajamas make it all cozy and casual.
I love to hear and sing the Christmas songs. Going to church and being with family.
Our favorite holiday tradition is being with friends and family! And never forgetting the reason for the season!

My favorite part of the holiday is spending time with my family on Christmas morning.
We take the kids to cut down our tree and always make cookies for santa on christmas eve.
Bundling up in a warm car to drive and look at Christmas lights. While driving, listen to Christmas music…singing along…until at least 2 of the 3 kiddos fall asleep. Take them home and carry them in to their warm beds.
